Our Purpose

The Solution Alano Club is a place where people can come to explore recovery in a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment. If you make it to our door, you are welcome with open arms, no matter what or who you think you are.

We exist to support Alcoholics Anonymous and the people who are searching for answers about themselves. We believe no one should be judged, labeled, or excluded while they are trying to understand their own condition.

Our goal is to offer a place where honesty is encouraged, dignity is protected, and people are given the space to find the truth for themselves.

What we offer

We support recovery through meetings, sponsorship, study, fellowship, and the application of the Twelve Steps as a "WAY OF LIFE". Alcoholics Anonymous does not diagnose anyone with alcoholism. The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous describes the alcoholic experience so that each person can decide for themselves whether they belong. Defining alcoholism itself is an outside issue from A.A.

We are dedicated to studying A.A. history and pre-A.A. history to better understand how recovery developed and why it works. Through this study, we learn that the chemical a person uses is not the core problem. The deeper issue is a condition of self that shows up as being irritable, restless, and discontent. Alcohol and other substances are described in A.A. as symptoms, not causes.

Some people come to A.A. because of alcohol. Others arrive because of different substances or life problems and later discover that alcoholism, not just a chemical, is the underlying issue. We do not tell anyone who they are. We offer original A.A. literature, education, and shared experience so people can explore this honestly and without prejudice.

We teach the A.A. program using source material rather than repeated slogans, hearsay, or popular narratives. We believe truth matters, and that real understanding comes from careful study, experience, and action.

The Fellowship You Crave

Recovery does not happen alone. It happens through connection with others who are willing to be honest and helpful. We work to build a fellowship grounded in respect, humility, and service.

We believe inclusion saves lives. Confusion, judgment, and exclusion can push people away before they ever understand themselves. Our responsibility is to keep the door open, the message clear, and the atmosphere safe. Through fellowship, service, and shared experience, we pass on what was freely given to us so that anyone seeking help can find understanding, hope, and a way forward.
